There are few things as enlightening as giving an astronomy gift to a developing child–and it seems that nothing interests them more than the prospect of discovery. A medium-powered telescope is the perfect way to introduce our immense universe to a curious mind.

Refractors use achromatic lenses, which can cause aberrations around bright objects like the moon and other planets.
